We are looking for lecturers for the Computer Science program for the Game Design and Video Games level program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan class sessions;
- Provide sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
- Design formative and summative assessments according to the competency-based approach;
- Administer and correct evaluations;
- Follow up on each student and encourage success;
- Be available to students in order to promote their development of the competency targeted by the course;
- All other related tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
You must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with option or concentration in the discipline concerned;
- Teach or have teaching experience in the discipline for a full semester within the last five (5) years;
- Have practiced a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
For the computer science program you have the following skills and qualifications:
- Have installed and configured PowerShell/Python on different Windows operating systems;
- Be able to create PowerShell/Python scripts to automate routine tasks;
- Be able to navigate the command line interface as well as the integrated scripting environment.
For the video games program you have the following skills and qualifications:
- Software analysts (Agile/Scrum, system modeling and design patterns);
- Game developers (Object Oriented Programming);
- Game designers (using Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, 3DSMax, Substance Painter/Designer).
Classes are offered during the day. We are looking for creative, energetic professionals who want to pass on their knowledge. Must have experience in Video Game design, and in Video Game design environments, including the mechanics and interactivity of a game. Bilingualism and teaching experience are major assets.
