Duration: 45 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor’s degree in programs related to biology, legislation, wildlife protection or any other relevant degree combined with relevant experiences;
Experience as a wildlife protection officer would be considered an asset.

Title: Cartography (Cartographie)
Duration: 45 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor’s degree in biology, in geomatic sciences or any other relevant degree combined with relevant experiences;
Proficiency in geomatics software;

Title: Communication in English (Communication en anglais)
Duration: 45 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language or any other relevant degree combined with relevant experiences.
Specific requirements
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- Relevant experience in an Indigenous or cross-cultural environment is an important asset;
- Willingness to travel to one or more Cree communities in Eeyou Istchee Baie James (northern Quebec), and to work in rustic conditions with limited services;
- Demonstrate good teamwork skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as open-mindedness, flexibility, empathy, and curiosity will be considered important assets;
- Openness to different cultures;
- Good knowledge of the Northern Quebec regulatory framework, notably the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement (JBNQA) and other legal framework surrounding the management and protection of wildlife would be an asset.
Workplace
The training will be mostly given in Chibougamau and occasionally in isolated camps located in the territory of Eeyou Istchee.
